Content is checked against the regulations and consensus standards of each field. These references tell providers what assessors expect. They are not claims of approval by those agencies.
| Sector | Typical activities | Content checked against |

A rigging course should leave every learner able to estimate a load, choose and inspect gear, and rig safely. Passing a quiz is not enough. Our lifting assessors check content against OSHA 1926 Subpart CC and the ASME B30 series, and expect a practical element wherever the job is practical.

theCPD.net is an independent CPD accreditation body based in the United States. We review training against a published standard and accredit the activities that meet it.
We do not design, sell or deliver training, so we have no reason to approve anything that is not good enough. Certificates are everywhere; quality is not. Workers, employers and clients need a fast, honest way to know a course was well designed, taught by competent people and assessed fairly. That is what our mark stands for.

How theCPD.net handles the personal information you send us.
theCPD.net is an independent CPD accreditation body. In this policy, "we" means theCPD.net. You can reach us at support@thecpd.net.
We collect what you choose to send us: your name, job title, organization, email address, phone number, country, city, website and the details of your training. We receive it when you email us, including emails you prepare with the membership enquiry form.
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not ask you to create an account.
The membership enquiry form on this site builds the text of an email in your browser. It does not send your details to us or to anyone else. Nothing is transmitted until you send the email yourself.
The directory lists member organizations by name, city, country, website, training scope and member number. It lists organizations and does not publish personal email addresses.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy. Photos are served with this site.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with assessors and advisers who need it to handle your enquiry or application, and where the law requires.
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with them, and accreditation records for as long as the accreditation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support verification and appeals.
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing support@thecpd.net. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws may have additional rights, and we will honor valid requests. Residents of other countries may have similar rights under their local law.
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
